Stepping into hypnotherapist, Lien Zun's office,
I only felt that the room was obscure with weak light. Having sitting
on the couch in front of him, it was so comfortable that I didn't
want to leave. Together with his low voice, I felt like I was overwhelmed
by him. Before the beginning of interview, I also felt like I was
hypnotized. The interview seemed to be undertaken in the state between
consciousness and semi-hypnosis.

01 Memory of Rubbish Bin
Hypnosis is very simple; everyone has been in the state of hypnosis.
Hypnosis actually lies in the position between consciousness and sleepiness,
so we all experience it every night and hypnotist is to hold it and
then communicate with your sub-consciousness. “Sub-consciousness is
like a rubbish bin containing many rubbish from our past, it is like
when we focus on something, the computer sound and the ventilator
sound all possibly exist, but we won't pay any attention to it, these
sounds then enter into our sub-consciousness.
Some people often get trouble with certain
problems, but they don't know why it is formed. The role of hypnotherapist
is to search from the rubbish in the sub-consciousness and find out
something we don't pay attention to or we have already forgotten,
and these incidents are then repressed and they always become the
root cause of the problem. “For example, when some people give an
open speech and suddenly feel fear, it is possibly because they have
been scolded under similar situation during their childhood, and the
feeling left become the so-called root. When they grow up, under certain
similar circumstance, for example indoors, few people, someone holds
similar speech, these fearful feelings would be stirred up, when they
know the root cause of the problem with further explanation, the problem
would be gradually resolved.”
02 Relieving the pain from ending the
relationship
The success of being hypnotized lies in the ability of focusing. Nowadays,
hypnotherapists hypnotize people through chatting; therefore, those
who come to see Mr. Lien may seem to be hypnotized unconsciously.
The clients' problems always come from stress,
sexual aspect, and social phobia or love relationship etc. Regarding
love problem, many people think that hypnosis can control one person,
so they are willing to being hypnotized with the hope of eliminating
the memory of boy/girlfriend, in fact, it can not be achieved. However,
Lien Zun can relieve their emotional disturbance resulting from thinking
of boy / girlfriends whenever they think of him / her. “One of the
ways to relieve their emotional disturbance is to think of one friend
with whom they feel calm, then do some different movement to represent
this calm feeling, for example, touch their own hand, or their legs,
whenever they think of their boy / girlfriend, they do these movement,
in this way, the calm feeling will then be brought back.
03 Unhealthy lifestyle: Stay away from
people
According to Rene Lien, he encounters different kinds of people and
different problems every day, although all cases are different, they
share
something in common, they are all due to some unhappy experience,
or facing too much and having a feeling of boredom. Even Lien Zun
who are interested in knowing people also hope that he doesn't want
to meet too many people in his later retirement life. Although he
deals with unhappy case every day, as a hypnotherapist, he is psychologically
tougher than others. “Perhaps due to the job nature, I am therefore
thinking in a more optimistic and positive ways, although I cannot
completely look through human affairs, even if problem occurs, I know
that it would not be the worst, I have my own way to handle it.” A
doctor know how to heal himself, as a hypnotherapist, whom should
have a better way than others to handle his own emotional problem,
Rene is that kind of person.
04 Self-hypnosis
In fact, if you want to be hypnotized, you may not reply on others,
for self-hypnosis is another method, the level is definitely not deep,
but if you hypnotize yourself continually, it must works some day.
It is easy to understand, everyday you speak something to encourage
yourself, for instance “I am full of energy when I wake up tomorrow”,
“I will become very clever” etc., gradually, this positive message
will influence us, changing our thought. According to the research,
it shows that if we make the identical behavior continuously for 22
days, this behavior can become your habit. Then is we speak to ourselves
continuously for 22 days, " I will become even happier."
